Integrated Massage is a treatment-oriented bodywork personally tailored to each individual’s needs. It consists of a thorough pre-session consultation, Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques, and can also include lymphatic drainage work, trigger point therapy, and stretching. This massage service is very effective in increasing flexibility, range of motion, and releasing chronic tension.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue is a form of bodywork specific to only one or two areas of the body that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue. It is never meant to be painful, but is simply working on a deeper level, which varies based off of each individual client. It is highly effective for releasing chronic stress due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of a deep tissue massage service, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you are never uncomfortable. Keep in mind that some soreness may be common after treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will be released during the session.
Prenatal Massage, done in the side-lying position with many supportive pillows, is similar to Swedish where technique is concerned, and is great for targeting specific low back and hip pain, promoting overall relaxation for you and your baby. Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle, rhythmic manual therapy that is specific to the lymphatic pathways in our body, helpful in utilizing lymphatic flow, which can be effective for those with edema (pregnancy-induced, post-surgical, injury-related), lymphedema, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases, Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injuries, and general stress reduction, detoxification, and possible enhanced immune function. For a full body MLD treatment, one must book a 90 minute session. Read more about the benefits of Manual Lymphatic Drainage here!
Doterra Aromatouch Technique
The Doterra Aromatouch Technique, designed by Dr. David K. Hill, utilizes eight different Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils, including Balance, Lavender, Melaleuca, On Guard, AromaTouch, Deep Blue, Peppermint, and Wild Orange and a chosen carrier oil. These oils are applied directly on the spine and are gently massaged out from the spine over the entire back and neck, as well as the feet. The oils are applied in a very specific sequence that may calm the nervous system, relax surrounding muscles, hydrate and detox the skin, and cleanse the immune system.
